You're in Thornton. Other than that, I've no idea. Must be a pub I haven't visited for a very long time.
ReplyDeletenumber one the old gym at burn naze, number two i think is outside the sports centre {not sure on both but no 2 v/unsure.
ReplyDeleteI'll give you a clue .. the first one I've already used ;-). The second one I will make clearer a little later and you should get it.
ReplyDeleteBrian, rumour has it there aren't many pubs you haven't visited for a long time - lol.
now i am confused and i bet i have viseted more pub,s than brian . excuse my spelling as i am on my sixth whiskey, {not pub measures }
ReplyDeleteMike, you could be right there. Nowadays (especially since the smoking ban) I prefer to indulge in my tippling activities (single malt for preference) in front of a warm fire at home with a cat on my shoulder.
ReplyDeleteHold on...I think I know where number one is. It's the church on Victoria Road...the methodist one. Wignall...or Withnail...or whatever it's called. It's where my Mum's flower club's held.
The second one...and, obviously, this is a major shot in the dark...is it that big stone outside the entrance to King George's Playing Fields?
I will join you but vodka is my brew of choice. As for the quiz .. am not tellin in the vain hope someone else might join in!
ReplyDeletesecond one , well i was only one entrance away i knew it was around there somewhere . i have a feeling it may be the other church on fleetwood rd. single malt also my tipple, and yes i tend to stay home mostly as well.
ReplyDeletejust drove past wignall your right Brian thats the one.
ReplyDeleteWell it seems I was even being optimistic with my top 3 but here goes ..

The first one is the 1892 Chapel at Wignall Memorial and the second one is the stone at the entrance to St George's playing field.
Next week I might do a riddle instead.
