  2. Melanie,

"Now it's been over a month now since Brian from Wyre Archaeology parted company with BT and still no news!"

    I'm working on it.

Actually, I'm not. I'm in the middle of decorating and got distracted. But I have borrowed this dongle for the night just so that I can come and annoy you personally. Might get myself one of these...but they're really, really slow. Don't believe anyone when they tell you that dongles are two thirds the speed of normal broadband. You want to try watching a Three Stooges video using one. It takes about four hours just to load the credits in. Having said that, it's better than nothing.

It's currently a toss-up between a slow and annoying dongle for the computer or a large tin of emulsion for the bathroom. Time to flip a coin I guess...

  4. Well I never .. thought you had sold up, packed up and (*ahem*)ed off. I had you living on a narrow boat in the highlands weaving baskets/whittling pegs.

BT are offering a free laptop with their dongles .. or perhaos not :-D

  10. Hi H.H., I knew an old lady who used to come down the creek every Sunday to feed them, she thought they were "Smooth Tailed Squirrels"and tried to report me for shooting them,no matter who told her they were rats she insisted they were squirrels,

Hi Michael, I think you'd have to moor in the middle of the river to get away from the present generation of vermin
